¡Mi primer día en Holanda no podia comenzar mejor!
Después de un largooooo viaje que comenzó un martes al medio día: West Palm Beach – Miami (en tren usando el Brightline) Miami – Madrid – Amsterdam (es esta oportunidad viaje con Iberia) llegando al día siguiente alrededor de las 11:00 am. Luego en el aeropuerto de Schiphol tome un tren hasta Almere Port; para culminar la travesía con una calurosa y emotiva bienvenida de parte de mi amiga Isa y Max.
Soltando mi equipaje de mano, me tome un cafe, con un rico bocadillo que me preparo Isa y zas, la pregunta:
Rey quieres ir a ver una exhibición en el museo Straat? y yo como siempre: para luego tarde, ¿cuándo salimos?
My first day in the Netherlands couldn’t have started better!
After a looooong journey that began on a Tuesday at noon: West Palm Beach – Miami (by train using the Brightline) Miami – Madrid – Amsterdam (this time with Iberia), arriving the next day around 11:00 am, I took a train from the Schiphol airport to Almere Port. To conclude the journey, I received a warm and emotional welcome from my friends Isa and Max.
Dropping my carry-on luggage, Isa made me a coffee, I had a sandwich, and bam, the question: «Hey, do you want to go see an exhibition at the Straat museum?» and me, as always: «Sure, let’s go, when?»
Te cuento que mi visita al Museo STRAAT fue una experiencia verdaderamente única. Desde Keith Haring hasta Banksy, mostrando el arte callejero que ha dejado una huella imborrable en la historia reciente. En el Museo STRAAT, pude sumergirme en este apasionante mundo y descubrir su impacto en el arte, la moda, el diseño, la publicidad y la cultura en general.
Este museo es un homenaje a la creatividad, donde se dan cita tanto los nombres más grandes como los talentos emergentes de todo el mundo. Para el momento en que visite el mueso, la exposición albergaba más de 180 obras de arte, creadas por más de 170 artistas. Algo realmente sorprendente, es que muchas de estas obras, fueron realizadas en el lugar y son tan impresionantes como los murales al aire libre.
Let me tell you that my visit to the STRAAT Museum was a totally unique experience. From Keith Haring to Banksy, showcasing street art that has left an indelible mark on recent history. At the STRAAT Museum, I could immerse myself in this exciting world and discover its impact on art, fashion, design, advertising, and culture in general.
This museum is a tribute to creativity, where both the biggest names and emerging talents from around the world come together. The exhibition at the time of my visit housed over 180 artworks created by more than 170 artists. Something amazing is that many of these works were created on-site and are as impressive as outdoor murals.
STRAAT es un museo de arte callejero y graffiti para todos, posible gracias a un dedicado equipo de entusiastas. Aquí tienes la oportunidad de descubrir las historias que permanecen ocultas en las calles, lo que realmente enriqueció mi experiencia.

Mi visita al Museo STRAAT en Amsterdam fue estupenda me lo reoccri con calma, disfrutando cada una de las obras representadas.
